We visited Tuscany earlier this year and I was smitten by the beauty all around. I was with my sketchbook, sketching at every opportunity and making notes for future paintings.

Tuscany is all about the sunlight and shadows, and I love capturing the light in these old buildings. The medieval architecture, the doors and decorated windows are all an artist's dream. With cooler temperatures hitting Germany, painting the Italian light helps me cheer myself up.:)

This original painting ships unframed, safely packaged in a cardboard box. The sides of the canvas are painted as shown, and it can be displayed without a frame on a small easel too.
