I wanted to depict typical big city feelings such as hecticness, having no time, isolation and superficiality in my painting entitled “Rush Hour”. The people are painted in black and white and in shades of gray. The only two people facing each other are painted in shades of red and blue. These two colors radiate into the picture.
The mixed-media painting was exhibited at the ARTe art fair in Constance in 2024 and in the pop-up exhibition - Historisches Gutshaus Wienhausen near Celle. It has a glazed wooden shadow gap frame, which remains in the background due to the medium gray tone and the frame height and does not restrict the expanse of the landscape. Of course, you can also purchase the picture with a different frame color or without a frame at a lower price. In addition, the sides of the picture are painted so that it can also be hung without a frame. The picture is signed on the front and back and is ready to hang. The surface of the painting has a varnish coating with UV protection.
