Rural scene III, 2009.
This is one of the three drawings I have done in 2009 as a sketch for a big painting, and they belong to my more abstract works. I was developing a scene with a neighbour driving a tractor with his two grandchildren through the lane in front of my, then, home. Suroundings depicting hills and foliage in a Danube area near Grocka, Serbia are colourful abstracted surfaces distincted with lines. Each one of the drawings starts off with the same scene, further developing into a different composition, with elements taking their own shape and value.
Back of the drawings, as shown on the picture, have some pastel stains.
Certificate of authenticity by me is included.
