Original artwork description:

The sheltered bay and picturesque buildings at Runswick Bay on the Yorkshire Coast always provide artistic inspiration. The colourful seaweed and rocks on the beach were perfect for a mixed media approach. I prepared the ground with gesso and acrylic texture in the foreground to highlight the seaweed, then applied washes of acrylic inks before then refining the scene with soft pastels.
This work will be dispatched cello wrapped and carefully packaged in an appropriate strong cardboard box protected by bubble wrap and sent via a tracked courier.
