This is the first piece in the L'art de vivre series that I'm working on in 2022 and 2023.

The L'art de vivre series is about small moments of calmness, carelessness, morning routine and habitual activities that give us a feeling of happiness. It is about people who, in spite of everything, know how to enjoy these minutes. And to me, as an observer, they remind me how important it is to stop sometimes, savor a cup of coffee and the morning newspaper, jogging after pigeons, walking barefoot along the fountain or walking in the park with a dog. The heroes of this series were random people whom I met in different cities and countries, but all of them are united by a feeling of a happy moment. This is what I really miss in the current reality, and I hope that my work will bring peace and joy into your life.

I’m a self-taught artist from Russia, currently living and working in Spain, Madrid. I’m master in History of Art, participant of few international competitions and exhibitions. Individual expo in 2021 and 2022 in Madrid.

My works are in private collections in USA, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, UK, Germany, France and other countries.
Main subject of my work is city. I always travel with my sketchbook and keeping my impression in my drawings, for my future big studio works or just as my memories. I’m interested in creative analysis and overseen the life of the city, small or big. It’s our main space for living as a humanity. And it has it’s own spirit and vibe that I love to feel and express.
I’m trying to catch the spirit of the city with different mediums, painting streets, scenes, architecture, people, parks and gardens.
