For such a gentle place the coastline of the Isle of Wight is disproportionally rugged.

This is an original oil painting on prepared board.

Size: 6" x 6" (15 x 15 cm) and is unframed, but would fit into a standard photo frame, as plain or as fancy as you like. Or prop it on a shelf unframed.

CARE OF OIL PAINTINGS:

The good news is that oil paintings are pretty robust.

Keep away from direct sunlight and steam. Dust occasionally and your painting will last for decades.

There's something quite satisfying about a small oil painting.
To me the square ones are particularly precious and I love to hold them in my hand.
They can brighten up a small corner, make beautiful gifts and they are a wonderful way of getting into collecting original art.
