Original artwork description:

I spent last week in some of my favorite towns in Provence; each with their own personality and attributes, but in some ways much the same in character..... Even though I live ( in France) on the Riviera, Provence is an endless source of inspiration for me..... Typically, I shy away from ever picturing Automobiles in my street scenes, as I don't like to "Date" my paintings.... But the time has come to accommodate that part of the landscape as I travel from town to town, so... voila; une voiture appears here!!!! ( And I quite like it!!) This canvas I painted around the edges so it can be hung, unframed....
