This work was inspired by themes of ritual. The figure, dressed in striking red, stands in a stark and surreal space dominated by dripping green—a deliberate choice to evoke both confinement and intensity. The imagery of the central object held by the figure, resembling a ceremonial tool, is an abstracted exploration of control, whether external or internal. This piece reflects my fascination with the tension between human agency and the structures that shape our lives.
