Painted on-site in my neighborhood in Minneapolis, MN. Features a large tree in splendid autumn color. The shape of the tree is reminiscent of a heart, and it boasts bountiful variegated shades of red, including burgundy red, cherry red, orange-red, and deep pink. The tree rests atop a slightly sloped hill carpeted with colorful fallen leaves, and is haloed by light yellow leaves from shrubs and other trees. Painted in oil over casein paint, with touches of iridescent and florescent paint incorporated into the foliage. Painted with both brush and palette knife, the leaves are accentuated by the thickly textured paint.

Painted on canvas with 1" thick stretcher bars, the painting continues around the sides of the stretched canvas for a "gallery wrap" look. Finished and ready to hang as is, or my be framed if desired.

This stunning showstopper will brighten any living space. For example it could be used as a focal point over a fireplace, over a bed, in a dining room, or on a stairway landing. It could also make a fantastic, one-of-a-kind gift for a special occasion such as a wedding, anniversary, or birthday.
