Drawn in charcoal, 'Ruby' is my largest piece in a new abstract series I'm working on.

Each piece is named according to how I would see them represented as a person. The piece is coloured with yellow + ruby red acrylic paint. Through the ages, the ruby has represented nobility, purity, and passion. The strong, bold colours made me think Ruby was an apt name.
