Painted on reclaimed wood 'Ruby and the Bird' is an acrylic painting measuring 12 cm x 56 cm. Layers of acrylic paint and glaze are built up rubbing back to reveal the natural grain of the wood. The sides are unpainted exposing the raw beauty of the wood.
Ruby is varnished for protection and keeping the wood clean.
