I live near Lyme park (you might know it as Pemberley from the 1995 Pride and Prejudice) and they have a whole herd of deer who often roam past the boundaries into the land around me. I often come across thirty of them on my walks so though it was time to study them in more detail in a series of paintings. This is the head in its most iconic angle, antlers on full display.

This painting is framed without glass so that it can breathe. It is painted on an MDF board with oils and gold paint. I have my frames made to order by frames express, I then mount them myself to enable people the option of sorting out their own.
