One of my painting as my pseudo : Romain Héjé, when i walk through the garden to the old barn where i paint on sundays when everyone left.
This painting of an eagle head is an attemp to challenge some ideas about art from Walter Benjamin. The "Aura" from a work of art, its uniqueness, the Hic and Nunc of its conception, the closeness and fareness about the ways we can perceive it. How about this notions when the model to the painting is a screen capture from a TV during a documentary about the Alps? What is the real subject : an animal , the eagle or representation itself, Art?
