In the morning, or maybe in the evening. Forest, river, fog and silence. I aimed to explore the tranquil interplay of nature and emotion, using layers of oil paint to create a dreamy, misty landscape that seems to exist in a state between awakening and slumber. The muted blues and greens evoke a serene, contemplative mood, while the subtle hints of warmer tones suggest a hidden vitality, simmering beneath the surface. This artwork invites viewers to pause, reflect, and lose themselves in the gentle ebb and flow of its abstract beauty, bringing a sense of calm and introspection to any space.
The painting was exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 2024.
