Portrait of Mr. Slyvester for the Maritime Museum. Founding contested by the then director. Mr. Slyvester won in court. However, Mr. Slyvester refused to hang his Portrait and had a bronze relief of the painting made and placed in the Museum. Painting reverted to me upon his death.
