Roundism – 31-03-20 (sold)
In my last drawing ‘Roundism – 29-03-20’ I employed the technique of solarisation again. It turned out to be a rather realistic one and so I decided to do another one more abstract. See what that might bring me. I combined some basic geometry (circular, square and triangular forms) with abrupt tonal contour delineations and softer gradient ones, creating rhythym and variation.
I guess I am trying out new tecnniques every time so my roundism style can evolve. I think everything is an ever continuum of creation and learning. Solarisation or inverting tonal regions might be my new learning curve.
