Roundism – 17-04-18
In this drawing I tried to combine the edgy triangular bodyscapes with a circular movement of the model. Although the reference picture did not sbow much contrast I still was attracted to the compositionary possibilities so I added lots of grey and black tones in order to let the body come forward. Looking at it thumbnailsize while writing this comment I see that the drawing looks rather clairobscur / realistic while the drawing next to my laptop still shows lots of cubistic abstract elements. Therefor I draw the conclusion that I have succeeded somehow in my goal to combine realism and impressionism with cubism and roundism.
