Roundism – 04-08-18 (sold)
Creation is a transformational process. I am fascinated by the thought I evoke chaos turning my graphite pencil fillings into dust and my pencil eraser into crumbles, but at the same time creating something new. Is this not an eternal pricinciple behind all things? Therefor I tried to have the model express creation by moving her arms. Between both arms I rendered the negative space completely black like a void since her arms did not create that space yet.
Graphite pencil drawing (Pentel 0.5 mm, 3B) on Canson Bristol paper (21 x 29.7 x 0.1 cm) - A4 format)
