Original artwork description:
This round wall piece is the last one from my woodcuts series.
They are all inspired by the the organic texture of the wood grains.
It's hand-molded with cellulose on a 1 inch wood support.
The whole surface was then gilded with genuine silver leaf.
A chemical oxidation gives the silver leaf warm tones and shades from a ducate golden to a reddish brown and blue-green.
The patina is always different and gives uniqueness and warmth to each work.
A final satin varnish protects the surface of the bas-relief and preserves it from further oxidation.
As per my other pieces different dimensions are available by commission.
Dimensions: 36" inches / 91 cm diameter
wheigth: 14.8 lbs / 6,7 kg
