In this painting symbolising the earth and the sky, Jean-Luc Lacroix has worked with several materials (acrylic, rope and other collages) using typography and a central gear to establish the graphics. Orange, red, blue, green and brown create a colourful, contrasting atmosphere.
The artist explores textures with great freedom. Abstract and expressionist, the forms and symbols captured emerge like echoes of a rich and complex inner world. The power of this symbolic composition brings a vibrant presence.
Acrylic and mixed media on 600g Arches paper, 20x34 cm. Possible framing 40x50cm.
