Rotterdam – 14-05-19
At Katendrecht in Rotterdam I had a clear view on the old harbour buildings and I saw the potential of horizontals, some verticals and a diagonal by means of a quay to the right. I decided to throw in a water taxi because they came and went all the time, also in order to create dept and to set it off against the other side tonally. I kept the buildings across the river Maas quite vague focusing on the overall impression.
