Painted on-site in Egg Harbor, Door County, WI. Features a flowering crabapple tree bursting with spring blossoms. The blossoms are painted with thickly textured oil paint, applied with palette knife, and contain highlights of rosy pink, bubble gum pink, and light pink contrasted by shading with deep red. Contrast is also created by the soft, matte texture of the background, which is painted with casein paint. The tree rests atop a sloping hill and is framed by tall evergreens and fresh spring foliage.

Framed in a 2" wide wood frame with a glossy red-brown finish and a gold inner edge. To purchase unframed, contact me for price adjustment.
