Original artwork description:

A Sussex red on box canvas with deep sides in oil & does not need framing. The background has a layer of gold leaf applied which has been antiqued with a wash of oil. The gold leaf has marks on it which are supposed to be there - I wanted to have a final look which appeared to be like an old film with marks and flickering lines.
