This watercolor painting is a beautiful depiction of an old stone house with a vibrant rosebush in the foreground. I tried to convey the contrast between the rough stones of which the house is built and the delicate beauty of the flowers. In this painting I wanted to convey the spirit of old England. Looking at it, you'll have the urge to curl up in an armchair with a good Agatha Christie novel, near a warm fireplace. This painting is a testament to the serene beauty of the British countryside, and a must-have for any lover of art.

This painting was hand-painted, using professional Winsor&Newton watercolors and 300g/m2 Saunders Waterford watercolor paper.
