Original artwork description:

This is quite a large painting measuring 67 X 50 cms, it is painted in oil on a stretched canvas. it's a rather imposing, modernist, impressionistic rendering of flowers in tones of red peach orange and purple.
My use of colour has become bolder over the past few years but this painting draws back a little, allowing the expression of subtlety in the different textures in the subject. The shadows are almost as important as the flowers and share centre stage to great effect.
The edges of the price are painted black so it can be hung as it is or mounted to your individual taste.
