Original artwork description:

This is a painting I decided to paint out of disappointment I never received any roses from a failed relationship. Although I didn’t want to just paint a bouquet of flowers, like some “décor artist”. I began with the hand reaching out and the flowers drifting off in the wind. As I painted it I did receive a gesture although it felt empty, a compensation for communication which to me, entirely exhausted my efforts, so I then began to paint the leaves closest to the hand turning into drops of blood.

I did have plans to turn the leaves floating away as transparent but I grew bored of the artwork and wrapped it up there. I also have more work to do in painting flowers.

This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.
