'Rosehips' is an acrylic painting of rosehip heads, painted part from real life and part imagination. The strong tonal contrast has been incorporated to create depth and life. The composition is playing around with balancing the space of canvas with various shaped rosehip heads and creating an aesthetically pleasing balance - I am excited to seek out more beautiful compositions and create more dynamic compositions as well of in terms of the colours, tone, shape, leaves and contrast.

It has been painted by layering translucent Acrylic paint combined with gloss medium create richness and vibrancy within the background and still life creations.
