Painted on-site at Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners, WI. This incredible scene features a view of the Boerner Rose Garden with green grass and foliage glowing in the light, roses in shades of pink, peach, red, and yellow, an arbor with stone pillars, a bell flower-shaped hanging bronze sculpture, and delicate trees silhouetted again the sky. Painted with both palette knife and brush, the shapes of the flowers are enhanced by thickly textured paint.
Painted in oil on canvas with 1.5" thick stretcher bars. The painting continues on the sides of the canvas in a "gallery wrap" style, which is ready to hang and requires no frame.
