Depiction of the distinctive chalk ridge line of the South Downs at Ropley in Hampshire. Acrylic painting incorporating subtle use of reflective paints to capture the light and to enliven the painting under varying lighting conditions. Painted on high quality Winsor and newton Rough 190gsm paper 508x356mm. Indicated in a mount for illustrative purposes but will be supplied un-mounted for you to choose your mount and frame. One of a pair of painting conceived to go either side of a window or chimney breast.
The use of paper as a substrate seems to really give these paintings an added vibrancy and at exhibitions prove to be the most popular works .
Will be supplied with a signed certificate of authenticity.
