Original artwork description:

I was thinking about this project for some time. I wanted to create the representation of us - living beings. The representation of our values, thoughts and feelings. I thought about totems and cave paintings, about the shaman from Lascaux cave, and his spirit guide - bird - sitting nearby. Furthermore, I decided to divide the painting in three pieces: mind, heart and guts. Those three parts of our body that are trying to recognize our situation in the world, that are whispering some advices to us. One can read it also as the representation of values, feelings and mind -Painted on grounded paper (Fabriano accademia 200gm2) -Acrylic primer with the addition of pumice dust -Acrylic paints (Amsterdam acrylic with high lightfastness +++ and ++) -Colored pencils (Polychromos with high lightfastness ++ and +++) -Varnish.
