A two layer reduction linocut print of a rook.
This corvid bird has a distinctive beak and a blue sheen to it’s feathers so I used blue ink for the first layer and black for the final layer so that the blue could shimmer through.
Due to the nature of the process, each print is slightly different to each other and has small imperfections.
