I love the "Pierre de Ronsard" rose. The flower is a cream, carmine-pink edges rose, cupped, globular bloom form.
For this realistic floral artwork, I've reprensented my favorite flower in front of a dark ground, so, the highlight gives a strong contrast. Ths light of the sun is playing with the green foliages, and gives a yellow green in transparency. There is mauve reflect of the sun light on the branches.

The "Pierre de Ronsard" Rose beautifully evocates the Romance of the old world charm. it's also known as 'the Eden Rose'.
"Pierre de Ronsard" was a french poet of the Renaissance.

The style is realistic but gestural. it's a mix between drawing and painting.
