The painting was inspired by my travel to Rome.
Atrium bathed in the golden shade of orange trees, light-filled galleries, swarthy Roman stone...
Rome is golden, golden pink, as if with a slight Italian smog, and when these streets are filled with reflected sunlight, with warm reflexes, you feel this warmth with your skin.
The color is deep, textured, complex, like a painting.
As if you have spent a dry brush with one color, then wiped with another, then picked up with a palette knife, strokes, semi-blurred and saturated colors side by side. Each wall is a canvas, is a Monet's work.
