A contemporary impressionistic oil painting of delicate light pink roses, with green foliage on green/grey background. An ideal romantic classical garden in the mist. Some light petals of roses are made with a palette knife. Some parts of the artwork are made with glazes, some other alla prima, which give richness of transparency and opacity to the painting. I've used a lot of subtile grey to soften the colors. The muted, neutral colors of the painting would perfectly suited to a "shabby chic" interior rather than a classical or contemporary home decor. A painting in exquisite luxury french style.
