Original artwork description:

My intention in this painting is to form a continuum between the need of early humankind and us, present day humans, to make marks on cave walls to explain life on earth. The triskele is an enduring image, used in all anicent and modern cultures world wide in varying forms. Its symbolism crosses all races and creeds. 3 whorls emerge from a single point of origin and have multi-layered meaning, heaven, hell and Earth; past, present and future, the rule of threes; fire, air and water to name but a few. It is an eternal symbol that reminds us that, in essence, the human race is as one and should work harmoniously to solve the mystery of our existence.
