Rolling Fields & Summer Clouds is a painting from a series of works filled with the glorious warm colours of fields on a sunny day, the recent good weather and blue skies have been such a joy after the long winter..
I have always loved the flashes of bright golds/orchre in the landscape at this time of year with the sunshine sorched grasses..
The contrast of the vibrant golden hues, looming summer rain clouds against the blues of the sky and the dark greens of the hedgerows and trees make for a dramatic palette...
This painting is oil on board and comes framed as shown

I applied lots of lovely thick oil paint smeared on with my palette knives
Float mounted & Framed as shown 26 x 29 x 3cm
