Rolling fields is filled with the colours of late summer – my eye is always drawn to the contrast of colours at that time of year – the yellow ochres of the harvested fields and this year scorched grasses set against the still rich and bright greens of the hedgerows and trees and than on a sunny day the vivid blues of the sky dotted with clouds, I am constantly looking up at the sky with its ever changing nature and trying to capture that movement and the way the passage of the clouds and the play of light affects the landscape underneath, highlighting areas here and there..
