Original artwork description:

When my daughter finished her school exams her one request was to go to a theme park. I hate rollercoasters and had resisted all invitations to go on them, but on my daughter’s insistence I agreed to accompany her. It was as bad as I expected it would be and the only way to deal with each ride was to keep my eyes closed! In a strange way I enjoyed the experience..and it inspired this painting. A jumble of loops and jolts, flashes of colour and metal and disorientation. The final marks are made with sandpaper and drill.

Materials used:

Oil and drill on aluminium
