Original artwork description:

This is an oil on canvas painting of the shoreline of Fowley Island at Emsworth in Chichester Harbour - painted when the tide was low and the sun high creating patterns through the shadows where the ground was broken - making for a graphic effect. I was taken by the scene and had to paint it, with the divine pools of cool blue water in between and splashes of sea weed on the shore.
