Acadia National Park has its own special kind of magic! sparkling light, blue water and amazing rocky outcroppings. If you have never been there, you must add it to you bucket-list. Try to go in the shoulder seasons when there are fewer crowds. This is based on a plein -aire painting that I did during our first trip to Acadia. I was captivated by all of the colors in the rocks - and the size of the rock! Making the trees seem tiny.
This is painted on a gallery wrapped canvas, with the edges painted dark grey. There is a wire on the back, so it is ready to hang in your home!
