This miniature painting is about the fascination of rocks. I love miniature art as it transports a lot and you have to study it carefully. It´s easy to be impressed by big art but small art needs concentration. That´s why I dream of a big miniature art exhibition one day! Also, it looks great to hang those works as a series.
Watermarks and lines, scratches and other watercolor effects are important to my work and keep fascinating me. This mini artwork is a good example for this technique.
On Paper total size with mat 30x30cm, the artwork part shown in the mat is 9x9 cm. Ready to be put in any standard 30x30 cm frame. Signed and titled on mat and on the back. W & N Watercolor and ink on professional watercolor paper.
