As the winter weather continues to blow gale-force winds across our coastlines fishermen often face catastrophic losses to their static gear. At a time when the reality of Brexit and it's dire consequences for the marketing of their catches (shellfish in particular) these losses must seem like the final straw. It is also ironic that the same fishermen were the poster boys for Brexit.
