This painting epitomizes a technique and aesthetic I have been working to perfect over the years. This is a limited color palette piece with heavy, deep purple, yellow, orange and white. The colors and shapes play off of each other, some vibrant and alive, while others are more muted and fading. This is another of my "Messy Geometry" pieces and the colors and layers appear like frost, ice, or even stone. Texture and lines overlap and stand out on the surface giving added depth to the piece.
