Artwork description:

Little red robins, puffed up against the autumn chill, like little snowballs.

A linocut reduction means that I cut away from the plate as the print progresses, I start with cutting away everything I want to stay white, print all 12 prints in the first color, the light gray and the light brown, then I cut away everything I want to remain in that color, and print the mellow orange for their little chests and the leaves, add details in green to the branch and a dash of yellow and green to the leaves. I then cut away everything for the last application of the black, when I am done, the plate is so carved away that there is nothing more to print from it, so the small edition of 12 prints is it, this is why linocut reductions are also called "lost plate".
I have rolled the colors up in a freehand way, so no two prints are exactly alike, I so hope you will treasure this as part of the handmade process and what makes linocuts original prints.

The piece of paper I have printed Robins on measure 36 cm x 46 cm (14" x 18") and the actual printed area measures 37 cm x 30 cm (14,5" x 12")
I have signed and numbered the edition of 12 prints.

I ship from my studio in the south of Denmark, with many yeqrs experience in packing my art so it arrives safely, see my over 1000 reviews.
