Artist's description:
“The robin flew from his swinging spray of ivy on to the top of the wall and he opened his beak and sang a loud, lovely trill, merely to show off. Nothing in the world is quite as adorably lovely as a robin when he shows off - and they are nearly always doing it.”
― Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden
I've always thought back to the Secret Garden when I see a robin. They are such bold wonderful birds that I forget how little they are. I could paint them again and again. This is one of a series of robin paintings so please pop into my shop to see the other ones available.
This painting is framed in solidly made, silver. The painting is on canvas-board and mounted with acid free card. Frame was professionally made to order by Frames Express.
Fabriano Paper, Oil Based Inks, Printing Press
