An original Pencil drawing by Paul Stowe - Robert Anthony Plant CBE is an English singer and songwriter, best known as the lead singer and lyricist of the rock band Led Zeppelin for all of its existence from 1968 until 1980. Regarded by many as one of the greatest singers in rock music, he is known for his flamboyant persona and raw stage performances.

This drawing was 4 years in the making - not that it took 4 years, but i started it back in 2018 and couldn't get it right, or at least to the standard it deserved - anyway I retrieved the drawing a couple of weeks ago and here it is finished to a standard fitting the greatest vocalist alive.

Drawn as always on smooth Bristol Board with Faber Castell 9000 series pencils and a Tomo Zero eraser - size for this drawing was c32cm X 55cm

Following a 20 year Hiatus Paul picked up his pencils again and started drawing back in 2012. Turning professional in 2016 Paul has won accolades across the globe, initially exhibiting and selling work in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand he now resides in the centre for contemporary British Art and the Tate Modern Gallery, St. Ives, cornwall.
From his open studio and commercial gallery in the town he spends hours, weeks and months drawing incredibly detailed images inspired by the plethora of artists and art in the local area.
His work is on permanent display in the stowe gallery in St. Ives and with individual and corporate collections across the world.
