This painting depicts road workers, utility workers, who were repairing the road in 2017-18 in the center of Kryvyi Rih, on the most popular roadway.
One day I was driving with my dad in the car, at that time I didn't have a license and didn't drive a car, so my dad was driving and I was looking out the window as usual, picking out good shots and subjects for my paintings, getting inspired.
So, driving through the "mudryona" bus stop, I saw what a great job these people were doing, it was 35+ degrees outside, and these people in work uniforms were standing under the hot sun to ensure a good infrastructure of the city for the future, after that I began to appreciate different professions even more, because people work for the benefit of other people and for their own good.

But now I drive my car on the same road, which is extremely comfortable to drive on, because it is one of the best roads in our city, with high-quality drainage systems to protect it from bad weather, rain and other natural disasters. When I drive through this central part of the city, on this road, I always remember these workers and express my gratitude to everyone who works on such works.

And in the painting you see just one moment from one day of these people, which I depicted with watercolors.

Watercolor is a painting in which gum arabic binds transparent pigments revealing the support of the painting. The gouache, of identical composition, is opaque. A watercolor is a water-based painting on paper. We rarely speak of a painting for a work painted in watercolor. Watercolor paintings are considered to be a unique way to creatively represent dreams, illusions, emotions and luminous feelings using water soluble pigments. However, painting with watercolors can be difficult. It's a difficult medium to master, in large part because it can be ruthless and unpredictable. Mistakes are difficult to correct and its fluid nature makes it difficult to control. Yet it is these very qualities that give the medium its undeniable charm.
