A late-afternoon regular walk of mine by the river, just outside my village home.
This is an earlier work of mine in acrylic which has not been offered for sale online before.
Christopher Witchall's landscape paintings capture the sense of large open spaces and vast skies of the Cambridgeshire fens where he has explored, painted and photographed for 30 years. His unsentimental approach to landscape combines traditional painting techniques with the realism and cool detachment of photography.
