Original artwork description:

This is an acrylic painting comprised of areas seen along the River Tone on the outskirts of Taunton in the United Kingdom. Through walking along the river, I recorded through sketches and watercolour paintings areas seen as I walked by the river running from the town to the countryside.

The painting has been composed of elements added to the canvas surface though using palette knives and plasterer's trowels, adding, skimming and scraping paint, scoring into layers, whilst applying layers of colour to form the illusion of trees, bushes, flowers seen and the river as ot flowed along the land.

Materials used:

Acrylic Paint on Stretched Canvas (with board backing)
