Artwork description:

This linocut print shows an image of rain ripples on a river in North Yorkshire, England. It's an original reduction linocut print, using just one block of lino and a process of carving away the lino between each of the two layers of colour to produce the final image.

It is a limited edition print of 16 using Zerkall extra smooth printing paper and Lawrence oil-based printing inks. The image size is 30.5cm x 30.5cm and the paper size is approximately 36cm x 36cm which gives a generous margin to allow for framing.

The remainder of the lino block used for this reduction print was used to create the one layer print - Summer Rain, version 1.

My linocuts are handmade from start to finish - hand carved, inked and handprinted, and as such they will have small variations between prints - making each print into a unique artwork. All of my prints are flat packed if delivered within the UK, and will be sent packaged in tissue and a tube if delivered outside of the UK.
